Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026. Please read these terms carefully before using SnapCopier.

Important Risk WarningTrading foreign exchange (Forex), contracts for difference (CFDs), and leveraged financial instruments carries an exceptionally high level of risk and may result in the loss of all invested capital. SnapCopier is strictly an automated technology utility. We do not provide financial advice, manage funds, or guarantee trading outcomes.
Software Service OnlySnapCopier ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our") is an independent cloud trade copier platform. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering an account, connecting a trading account, accessing, or using SnapCopier, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms in their entirety, you must not access or use the Service.

You represent that you are at least 18 years old (or of legal age to enter into binding agreements in your jurisdiction) and possess the legal authority to enter into this agreement.

2. Nature of the Service (Non-Financial Advice)

SnapCopier is a technical software-as-a-service (SaaS) utility designed to automate the copying of orders and trading actions between MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 accounts according to parameters configured by the user.

  • No Investment Advice: We do not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, or trading advice. No communication from us shall be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument.
  • No Asset Management: We do not hold client deposits, manage client capital, execute discretionary trades, or act as a financial custodian, broker, or dealer.
  • Independent Control: You retain complete and sole discretion over the selection of master accounts, follower accounts, lot multipliers, risk parameters, and symbol mappings.

3. Trading Risks and Execution Disclaimers

Automated trade copying operates across multiple distributed systems, public networks, and third-party broker infrastructures. You expressly acknowledge and accept the following operational risks:

Slippage & Price Gaps

Execution prices at follower brokers may differ significantly from master fills due to market volatility, liquidity, spread widenings, and broker execution delays.

Network & Broker Outages

Internet interruptions, cloud host outages, broker maintenance periods, or server restarts may delay or prevent order placement or position closures.

Broker Rejections & Limits

Brokers may reject orders due to insufficient margin, disabled symbols, market closures, trading session restrictions, or maximum exposure caps.

Specification Differences

Contract sizes, lot steps, leverage limits, and margin calculations vary widely across brokers and account types (e.g. cent accounts or differing gold contract sizes).

4. Absolute Limitation of Liability

Please read this section with particular care.

To the maximum extent permitted under applicable law, in no event shall SnapCopier, its developers, operators, contributors, or service providers be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, trading capital, revenue, data, goodwill, or opportunities arising out of or in connection with:

  • Any trading losses, margin calls, stop-outs, or account liquidations;
  • Orders that failed to open, failed to modify, failed to close, or were executed with slippage;
  • Incorrect lot sizing, mathematical calculation discrepancies, or misconfigured filter rules;
  • Software bugs, service interruptions, server crashes, network latency, or maintenance periods;
  • Actions, omissions, or technical faults of third-party MetaTrader brokers, MetaQuotes software, or server hosting providers.

Liability Cap: In all circumstances, our maximum aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be limited to the total amount paid by you to SnapCopier in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to liability. If you are participating in the free beta or using a free tier, our total aggregate liability shall be zero ($0.00 / €0.00).

5. Account Authorization & Credentials

When connecting trading accounts to SnapCopier:

  • You represent and warrant that you are the lawful owner or have explicit written authority from the account holder to trade and monitor the connected accounts.
  • You grant SnapCopier technical permission to connect to broker trading servers using the credentials you provide and to monitor, submit, modify, and close trading orders in accordance with your configured settings.
  • You understand that Master accounts can be connected with read-only Investor credentials (which cannot open or close orders), whereas Follower accounts require trading passwords to place copy orders.
  • MetaTrader trading credentials cannot be used to deposit or withdraw funds from your broker account.

6. Broker & Proprietary Trading Firm Rules

Some brokers and proprietary trading firms (prop firms, funded challenge providers) maintain specific policies regarding copy trading, expert advisors (EAs), maximum open lots, news trading, IP addresses, or cross-account hedging.

It is your sole responsibility to ensure that your use of SnapCopier complies with all applicable agreements, challenge rules, and terms of service imposed by your brokers and prop firms. We disclaim all responsibility for account disqualifications, suspensions, or profit confiscations.

7. MetaQuotes and Third-Party Trademarks

MetaTrader, MT4, and MT5 are registered trademarks of MetaQuotes Ltd. SnapCopier is an independent cloud software solution and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by MetaQuotes Ltd or any broker or financial institution.

8. Free Beta Period and Service Availability

The Service is currently provided under a public beta. While we strive for maximum uptime and defensive engineering, beta releases may include experimental features, bug fixes, database migrations, or server restarts without advance notification.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or the entire Service at any time. We also reserve the right to introduce paid plans, adjust account limits, or alter subscription terms upon reasonable prior notice.

9. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree that you will not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code from the Service;
  • Interfere with, overload, or launch denial-of-service (DoS) attacks against our infrastructure;
  • Attempt to access accounts, credentials, or data belonging to other users;
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, fraud, or market manipulation scheme.

10. Termination and Account Deletion

You may terminate your relationship with SnapCopier at any time by disconnecting your trading accounts and requesting deletion of your user account.

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or pose a security risk to the platform.

11. Changes to Terms & Contact

We may amend these Terms of Service from time to time. The date of the latest revision will always appear at the top of this page. Your continued use of SnapCopier following any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
